ROLE DETAILS

The Work

In this Private Lending Lawyer Toronto role, you can expect to work on secured lending transactions, private mortgages, lender-side and borrower-side financing, loan documentation, security registrations, title review, closing management, and related real estate or corporate matters.

You will likely be involved in drafting and reviewing loan documents, managing closing steps, communicating with clients and other professionals, and ensuring transactions move efficiently from instruction to completion.

Compensation

$160,000 – $200,000

For Equity Partners Group Performance and Override bonuses are provided in addition to market leading splits on original generated work

QUALIFICATIONS

What the firm is looking for.

01This Private Lending Lawyer Toronto opportunity is best suited to a private lending lawyer with approximately 7+ years of experience in secured lending, mortgage enforcement, real estate financing, or related transactional work.
02The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing lending files, working with private lenders or institutional clients, and handling the practical details that make financing transactions run smoothly. A partial book of business, lender relationships, or strong business development ability would be considered a significant asset.

Working HoursFull time: Standard Law Firm schedule

Skills– This role requires previous practice experience in Private Lending. · – Candidates must have a strong track record of developing business or a plan to expand business development activities. · – Must be called to the Ontario Bar and have a Licence in Good Standing with the LSO.
