Our client, a respected firm in Miami, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with 6+ years of experience to join its established commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with strong experience in commercial litigation, contract disputes, shareholder disputes, business tort claims, injunctions, debt enforcement, fraud-related claims, and complex business disputes.
The successful candidate will advise a broad range of business clients, corporations, financial stakeholders, investors, and commercial clients through all stages of the dispute process. This role is well suited to a lawyer who is confident managing sophisticated files, developing litigation strategy, preparing strong advocacy materials, and delivering practical, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced private practice environment.
- Manage a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, debt enforcement, business tort claims, and other complex commercial conflicts
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, applications, affidavits, mediation briefs, settlement documents, and related court materials
- Represent clients in mediations, discoveries, hearings, court proceedings, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Provide strategic legal advice on litigation risk, dispute resolution options, file strategy, and practical business outcomes
- Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written and oral advocacy materials for active litigation files
- Maintain full file carriage from intake through resolution, including deadlines, client communication, reporting, and coordination with experts or third parties
- Called to the Bar in Florida and in good standing with the applicable law society or bar association
- Minimum 6 years of experience practicing in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and file management skills across a range of business and commercial disputes
- Experience handling motions, applications, mediations, discoveries, hearings, and negotiated resolutions
- Excellent communication, judgment, and client service skills
